It's been interesting reading about this... it's good to know that

Unfortunately for any newbies, at the three best schools, last year's teachers are staying on, and the couple of other good ones that need(ed?) teachers are in timy pissant towns way off in the middle of nowhere. One teacher whose contract expires on Thursday still hasn't been given a new one to sign and I'm really hoping for his sake that the district doesn't have any tricks up its sleeve.

It's amazing sometimes how Koreans are incapable of doing such small things that would make their and our lives so much easier.
