Three big results I never would have guessed -

Bolton loses 2-0 at Charlton.
Tottenham loses 2-0 to Everton at home.
Arsenal loses 1-0 at Man City.

Of the expected front runners, only ManU has lived up to expectations. We'll see what Chelsea does at Blackburn tomorrow.

Is there a World Cup effect going on?

man u are 3 for 3 ... bugger!
good to see chelsea lose to middlesbro ... happy!
liverpool finally got their first win ... about time!
i hope everton get relegated ... my dream!

i have sky life and it bugs the shit out of me ... they only ever play man u, tottenham and now reading. if there's no korean, they don't show it.

last night BOTH channels showed the man united game, and park didn't come on until the 80th minute.

last season i missed some cracking games. they'd show tottenham vs sunderland rather than showing liverpool and arsenal.

i might sign up to watch them online. at least i can pick the games.

How does one subscribe to an online provider? Is the quality good? Is it through the club or Sky sports?

I signed up with the footballon service mentioned early. Check page one for the link. It's 7 pounds for the season now.

Installation takes a bit of time, as you have to install WinAmp and fix some settings and install some other mumbo jumbo on top of that.

Quality is pretty good. Better than the (free) feeds I was getting during the WC. Although I was getting dropped due to a buffering problem during the Tottenham-Everton game. Maybe in part because I was surfing the internet and had ESPN scoring updates running at the same time. The admins are pretty responsive to problems and they say they'll be adding a second server soon. They only show up to two games at a time, so not evey game will be played. But selection is by member voting. Here is the schedule for upcoming games:

Quote:
Saturday 26th August

12.45 - Liverpool v West Ham

15.00 - Charlton v Bolton or Fulham v Sheffield Utd or Tottenham v Everton or Watford v Man Utd - match vote coming soon

17.15 - Man City v Arsenal

21.00 - Valencia v Real Betis

Sunday 27th August

14.00 - Aston Villa v Newcastle

16.00 - Blackburn v Chelsea

18.00 - Real Madrid v Villarreal

Monday 28th August

20.00 - Middlesbrough v Portsmouth
20.00 - Celta Vigo v Barcelona

Saturday 2nd September

17.00 - England v Andorra ( Euro 2008 Qualifier )

19.45 - Germany v Irleand ( Euro 2008 Qualifier )

Sunday 3rd September

16.00 - Argentina v Brazil ( Friendly )

Last night was the first time I used it, so I'm not sure if the buffering problem is consistent when two games are on, or just something on my end (there were others complaining of the same problem). But they are cracking down on anyone who shares their links, and they say a new server is being added. Outside of that, it's totally worth the money if you want to watch footie here.

Too bad, we really dismantled Blackburn last night, who did impress at times. Although I wish someone would run over Robbie Savage with a steamroller.

Yes, Chewsea are a heinous shower. It'd be interesting to see how many 'neutrals' are behind United, simply out of hatred for Abramovic and Chelsea and all their wealth and arrogance.

FORZA UNITED!

As opposed to United's 'God Given Right' (TM) to win everything for the last ten years? Nothing personal, Spin, but United fan's sanctamoniousness makes me ill.

Reading 3 - 2 Middlesborough

What a fantastic start in the Premier League for my beloved Royals! Seol was awesome, never seem him play that well for Korea or Wolves. Good on Sheff Utd as well. The likes of Chris Kamara will be hastily revising their pre-season predictions.

Well played sid if you're reading this, maybe should have got a point looks like it's the championship again for us next year ㅠㅠ
