You can't be serious. It's the Steelers. They have a young starting quaterback who can only/is getting better all the time with Big Ben. They also have a proven veteran at backup if Big Ben is injured. They have two good running backs (probably soon to be one) in Fast Willie Parker and Duce Staley. Plus they have a premier wide receiver in Hines Ward. A potential hall of famer/pro bowl TE in Heath Miller. That's just the offence. You have Troy at CB, Farrior at LB and Porter at LB. I may not like Porter but he delivers. Also they have Bill Cowher. That man is a smart coach. They consistency the owners have been the same the coach has been the same for what 13 years. They also have a superbowl under their belt.

If we were to look at Miami they Dante at starting QB. Wow that was a big steal there. The man never turned into the premier quaterback he was billed to be. As well he's coming off reconstructive knee surgery I doubt he's going to dazzle us. He'll be average at best. But if he falters who is his back up Joey Harrington. This is the quaterback of recent that was supposed to be the saviour of a team but did nothing for them.

They do have some decent talent on Running with Ronnie Brown and receiving with Chris Chamber and Randy McMicheal (TE) but they don't have star players. Their offence is full of good but average guys. Same with the defence it's good. But not good enough to take it anywhere. They need leaders for both the offence and defence. Nick Saban is a good coach too bad he got stuck with a mediocre team.

So Pittsburgh is the better team hands down. Oddly enough though I want Miami to win their division because I hate the Patriots they're overrated and they have kicked my team out of the playoffs three out of the last four years.

I like the Steelers, too. I'm a little concerned about the backfield. Maybe they need a bigger guy back there for certain situations?

Seattle shut down Pitt in the SB. They had three big plays because of three major injuries on the Seattle D in the SucksBowl. Big Ben had a passer rating of... what... 24???

Polamalu?? Walter Jones disappeared him. Minus the refs, Seattle ran up 500 yards offense on that vaunted D.

Serious return to Earth for the very, very lucky Puttzes this year. But, yeah, they might be better than Miami.

Maybe.

Couldn't sum it up better, and I've been a steeltown fan since before the days of Kordell Stewart....man he had potential hahaha, anyway, look out for the Cardinals this year!

Cardinals really. James is good back. He is prone to knee injuries. The Cardinals offensive line isn't breaking open holes for him and the Cardinals offence doesn't have defences constantly thinking about what they're gonna defend against until the play has already been done. That's why James was great with the Colts. It'd be nice to see Dennis Green show us that he really is a great coach but I don't know if the Cards can do it for Green.

The sleeper team this year I think is....... The Lions. I know it seems off but I think they'll win their division. Which I don't like cause I love Da Bears.

Never bet Pittsburgh for the opener.

I can't remember the last time they won an opening game.

Take Miami and the points.

Yeah Otis is right never bet pittsburgh for the opener. Cause they haven't won an opening game since 2005 oh wait no they won that game. Okay so 2004 oh wait they won that game as well. It must be 2003 then....no they won that game as well. Pittsburgh hasn't won an opening game since 2002.

Bet the Steelers.

Sorry Otis no offence meant but maybe you shouldn't pretend like you know something about football and stick with making ignorant inflammatory remarks. I know you are good at that and I do honeslty enjoy them.
