Some people are just racist jerks, don't worry not all Koreans are. Maybe this is their way of letting you know you would be better off working somewhere else. My boss just hired a dark-skinned guy of Latino heritage and was all set to hire a girl of Indian descent, so don't worry. Often racism is an indicator of much worse problems, it's probably jus the tip of the iceberg with those clowns. Make the best of the friends you have and take your time finding your next job, many people will hire you based on your education, great personality, and presentation.

I worked with a guy who got fired because the boss found out he was born in Latvia or someplace but he was an Oz resident with an Oz passport. Part of it might have also had to do with him joining the rest of the teachers in cricisizing our school's horrible misdeeds in every imaginable area (yay, SLP!).

I know a nice recruiter who might be able to help you find a good job, he's the same one that introduced the Latino and the Indian girl to my boss so I know he's got a good head on his shoulders. As an added bonus, he listens to you instead of just nodding and plotting like most recruiters.
