The problem with people who have such a quaint view of the world is that they take for granted that every westerner is a racist white christian. I, for one, am neither racist, white, or christian. But, should we share some of the collective guilt for what happens in this world? Maybe so. There are crimes of action and crimes of inaction, after all. But, I doubt the problems of the world should be placed solely on our shoulders. Problems will occur, no matter what we do. And, realistically, we have far less influence on what happens around the world as the ones who use us as scapegoats would like to believe.

Its absurd that a tiny country, Israel, should be put under the microscope and held accountable for all the percieved grievances of the entire middle east. If muslims could shake off islam they'd find most of their problems vanish.
