Koreans are really into bodybuilding. Two of the public schools that I worked in had free weights.
I've met some serious Korean bodybuilders and they all train with heart. 95% of them don't take the easy way by taking roids. They have natural muscle, the kind that you keep forever - as opposed to roid produced muscles that shrink when you stop taking drugs.
Korea's a great country to train in. It seems like there's never a gym too far away. Just look for any building with a sign saying "HEALTH" and you've probably found a gym. |

That's very true. When I go back to the UK I know I will put on about 10lbs. I like the food here, you can get protein cheap, gyms are cheap and you have enough downtime to workout everyday. |

been here almost 10 years and never seen that. |
I really really cannot believe that. Have you EVER been to a gym...and showered? Or a jimjilbang? I'm calling BS on you if you have never seen a Korean blow-drying his pubes.
I mean, these guys wait IN LINE for access to the blow dryer after showering! |

I guess the useful advice was for naught. You'll quit after a month if you just go to the gym to stare. |

As far as men drying their pubes with the hairdryer, I have seen it many times. Putting their foot right up on the counter and drying it for an extended period of time.
A female coworker also told me that some women at her gym dried their private parts with a hairdryer as well. |

no BS - I've been going to the gym off and on for my entire time here (average about 6 months a year) |

bodybuilding (not just going to a gym) is a huge part of my life hence the post. just thought id ask for the hell of it haha.
the main reason why i asked was because someone i know on a bb forum said he had to travel one hour across seoul just to squat.

Hahhhhh! So true...but then again I'd be more inclined to think that's actually true. |

Ok. Sorry Superhero. I should have looked it up first.
It was The Saint who said that he saw 1 motorcycle on the sidewalk after 6 years in Korea. On this thread.

The problem with these orientals is that none of them ever trim their pubes. They complain to white people that we don't trim our nosehair, but how about the pubes? These people have forests growing down there. They also don't have ugly moles removed by skin doctors. What's wrong with these people? They focus on the nose hair but nothing else.
BTW, stay out of those jimjilbangs. They're not clean. Have you ever seen a guy with a mop washing the floors there? I figured not. I learned first-hand about this. Woke up and found several warts had grown on my toes. Yeah, jimjilbangs! |

| I think you guys spend entirely too much time discussing other men's pubic hair. And what's with the losers bragging about lifting more than the locals? These are KOREANS, not Latvian mobsters for frig sake. |
