All my life, I've been Pentacostal. Louisiana Pentacostal.
On Saturdays and Sundays, I handle snakes.
I've been handling snakes for close to thirty years now. We dance and sing and bang the tamborine and speak in tongues.
In all those years, I've only been bitten twice. Water moccasins. No kidding.
So what has religion gotten me?
Well, it has gotten me two trips to the emergency room.
But I enjoy the crap out of it. I can't wait till tomorrow. I will arrive at church loaded on moonshine and dance with a couple serpents. One in each hand, you heathens.
It sure beats communion. Let's see you Catholics compete with that. |

That has to be the most idiotic thing I've heard of in a long time. I don't care about your religious beliefs, but anyone stupid enough to "dance with serpents" deserves what they get.
I wonder if we'll read about Otis in the newspapers one of these days, after a snake crushes him to death while "dancing" in a church? |

if you wanna have faith in something, then you should enjoy it. none of this "you're all evil" fire and brimstone garbage.
you're welcome to your beliefs, and i'm welcome to mine ... and may the world be a better and happier place for it! 
btw, perhaps a little less moonshine might also result in fewer trips to hospital! hehe!  |

No, in another post Otis mentioned he regretted not sleeping with more black women before he was married. I always thought to be a born again christian you have to regret your wanton fornicating ways, not regret who you didn't bang. |
