I show up today, am told that I need to do a 5 minute English lesson over the broadcasting system everyday, starting, guess when... ??? You got it, now.

But, I also found out after my 2nd grade class didn't show up today that that has been moved to 5th period, and my 5th period grade 1 class has been cancelled, for the term! Wink (I see each class 3 times a week, small school)

Today (still Monday...) I found out that I won't be teaching evening (overtime...) classes to the freshmen "English club" this term (period of six weeks, I think...) I've always taught them two-or- three classes a week and made an extra 400,000 won a month from it. (I think that a woman teacher in my office who teaches both Chinese and English lobbied for my overtime classes because she needs the extra money...) I still have evening elementary classes, though, on Tuesdays and Thursdays for which I make about the same amount...

For comparison, I'll list the class periods that I work each day:

Mon: 4th and 5th

Tue: 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th (and 6:20 - 7:10 and 7:20 - 8:10pm for elem.)

Wed: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th ...

Thurs: 2nd, 6th, and 7th (and 7:20 - 8:10 for elementary...)

Fri: 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th
