Anyone know where you can buy ground decaf coffee? I've looked at Costco, e-mart, and Grand Mart... I don't even know if you can buy it at Starbucks, but I doubt it, since I asked for a decaf latte and they said sorry, no decaf....
Maybe online, but don't know a site... =(
I ain't drinkin' no effin decaf maxim, neither~ |

Heh... If I wasn't as quick-eyed as I am, I'd be sending you loads of it free after reading your post. On vacation, the Korean girl with me kept picking up pouches of ground decaf (ugh!) "designer-label" coffees everywhere we went shopping. She's not into decaf -- she's just kinda typically Korean-girl-minded. (I want more, More, MORE variety!! Yay, variety!! Yay, pretty little coffee pouches!!) So we'd get to the register and I'd suddenly see the cashier zap the barcode -- "Whoa!!! Hold on there! We're putting that one back! " |

| I had an espresso machine a couple of years ago I got from Walmart. It was made in Korea and forty bucks. Weekends were a blast with that thing, frenzied home caffeine cooking. First thing in the morning then you KNOW you're doing something after that.....BE where the action is (caffeinated up to the eyeballs). Ought to get another one....run around, run around.... |
I got the same one. The coffee piddled out lukewarm, and was cool by the time the milk was foamed.
Now I have one of these eye-talian stovetop beauties.
Up to 6 cups, piping hot. I think it tastes better, too. And for the milk, i got one of those little battery powered frothers from PolyM.
Anyway, damn you captain, for making me reply to a thread i laughed off as lame. |

Damn you, too. If you don't like it, 'call Podori', haha.
That was one of the most hilarious stories I've seen on Dave's, by The Eye. There was a drunk guy threatening a woman with a knife in his apt building. The Eye stepped in and called out to bystanders, 'call Podori!'. Which is the animation character police mascot, big head, eyes, cute-uh....He'd just got to Korea and thought Podori was Korean for police..... |

I think that's the name...
It's a chain housewares store...Ikea like stuff...but not as interesting or broad-ranging.
Anyway, I saw them at E-mart, too. |

There's one in Itaewon, near Rocky Mountain Tavern. It's ridiculously expensive, but there are some cute things there. |

I've got one of these - 'cept its made of stainless steel so doesn't go mouldy really quickly if left unwashed for while.... (very handy, trust me)
I'm still looking for a place where I can buy nice coffee powder, for example Lavazza or Segafredo. IT MUST BE 100% ARABICA though - anyone got any ideas? I was in Hanam Supermarket on Saturday and got so excited by finding Parma Ham that I completely forgot about the coffee until I was on the subway home... |

Those brands can be had on the net. Try searching for (Lavrazza 판매). As a matter of fact, if you are looking for anything in Korea, just google whatever you're looking for, making sure to add 판매 to the search field (coffee 판매, hunk of cheese 판매, etc). 90% of the time, you'll find what you're looking for. |
