Admit it and come out of the closet. Today is the joyful day that you feared would never come. Love Story in Harvard is now on DVD with English sub-titles.

If you want to know more about this ground-breaking TV drama, look no further than here.

Some highlights:

My absolute favorite line in this drama so far. I thought I was going to fall off my chair!

You can actually see the korean actors reading off cue cards or a teleprompter when they're fumbling through those long-winded speeches in class.

What I love is how the professor and the other students in the classroom seem to fully understand what these two clowns are rambling on about.

Evil Korean genius boy: "In a jurishprudonce study ob da case I berive dat de lawyo is riable in da masho brboola makka a keseyo dat in da bloo-bloo bleee-blooo afnamnikamnida-law."

Professor: "Ahh yes, very very interesting Mr. Park. You certainly know your stuff."

Do you ever suspect that when korean girls go to sleep at night after a long day of studying english, they dream of themselves in this scene?

Did they edit out the part where, in one episode, vagina was accidentally shown?

If so, I'm not buying.

They're certainly carrying a lot more books than any Korean university students I've ever seen.

P.S. I'm still wondering what it means "to get Derrekked."

Cell-phone, MP3 player, makeup, mirror, diary ... all the essentials for a hard-working student.

They released My Name Is Kim Sam Soon a few months ago but they didn't have any subtitles. You actually have to order an imported Hong Kong edition to get the English subtitles.

btw, "getting derreked" as I understand it, means to have an outrageous stroke of bad fortune, usually involving a Korean screwing you over because you are a foreigner. The term comes from an old user of this board Derrek who would constantly post about how he had gotten screwed over until other posters would just respond with "whoops! you got Derreked!"

Just watch "Legally Blond" and you'll get an idea of the plot since it was ripped straight from there.

*snicker*

I remember him complaining about how he would always go to this video store until one day he walked in with some Korean hottie on his arm and the Korean guy behind the counter suddenly had all this go chu envy and demanded he started leaving a security deposit.

You've been having some serious bad luck - Korean cinema since aroun 1999 has been excellent. Korean TV on the other hand is crappy.
