| I think you should have put up a poll for this one. Mint chocolate chip all the way for me baby, but it's got to be in a waffle cone....Hmmmmm....waffle cone. |

| I like exotic flavors, not just plain old vanilla or chocolate. Ben and Jerry's ice cream is divine, and in Turkey, I tried rose flavored ice cream. Terre de Glace has some good stuff too. Russian ice cream with dark lindt chocolate mousse and brandied cherries is to die for. Green tea ice cream sends me to heaven in a flash. |

| In Toronto there was an ice cream parlor that made a burnt marshmallow flavor that was out of this world. |

At Baskin Robbins, I'm quite partial to "I Am Sam." Very chocolatey, but it happens in concentrated bursts instead of all the way through, which seems to intensify the experience.
Bavarian Chocolate has never let me down either.
Recently they've offered "Chocolate Cheese Cake" which they should just rename "The XX Factor." |

I have liked other ice cream over the years but a staple from my childhood that I could eat anytime is rainbow sherbert.

What's sad is, at the esteemed institution of higher learning where I had my orientation briefing Friday morning, we were actually instructed by the dean to, during a five minute break, turn to the people sitting at our lefts and rights and ask them three questions:
1. What's your name?
2. Where are you from?
3. What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
I scoffed and muttered to my neighbors: "Let's give it a pass, shall we?"
Nancy from Virginia said: "Awww, come on, now. I like rocky road."
Louis from the Bronx said: "Jeezus H. Christ. Not too hard to tell we're at a college of education, is it? When's the fucking pep rally?"
Nancy moved to a different part of the hall, Louis is my new friend. It's nice to be home.
Vanilla Swiss(no relation to the OP) Almond, by the way.
==========
P.S. WTF? The illustrious Swiss James returns, Qitty-Qat organizes a meat 'n greet, Chronic Pride gets a book project going, I saw jinju acting civil in another thread and billyb is probably out on the prowl again. Did you all just wait for me to leave? I suppose the cubanlord lynching is slotted for when the moon is next gibbous...?
A bunch of ripe, right bastards, you lot are. |

Interesting... I heard a theory this weekend that mint chocolate chip was nobody's favourite (it was something to do with a metaphor about love) but apparently not. |

Did the Ben and Jerry's in Kangnam close down? I remember it was one of the hottest days of the year and I was with my gf and we wanted some icecream and I told "I know where to get the good stuff, don't worry darling," and we walked around forever in the blistering sun before giving up and going to BR.
Best flavor: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Runner up: Cheesecake
(alright, James, to tell the story honestly, I was planning on prowling around in my shiny black equus offering ice cream to any girl wearing a high school uniform. you got me.) |
