Lets see..*whips out calculator*...

I have approximatively 600 months left on my "contract", considering I have been here for about 60 months I see this a no big deal.
The "contract" might be longer as I am basing it on average life expectancy, if I live longer, it might stretch out a bit or perhaps I will retire before that..forgot about that...*whips out calculator again*...
I have to retire, its the law so that means my contract still has 460 months to go.
After that I plan to quietly go in my bedroom and expire in my sleep.

Exactly what keeps you people going back to Korea? Korea has flames galore yet many return to endure more "abuse."

I never wanted to leave Korea but my prolonged status among the ranks of the jobless left me no choice but to return to the United Fatsos of America. That said, I do see a return to my motherland given that I'm sick of life in the US already, but farsighted enough to know that going back with either big capital or a master's is the way to go.

Once you hit 35 years (or look it) or over, the way people will view you in terms of employment will DRASTICALLY change. Think about that when you go off on your next backpack endeavor.

Just becaus some of what you say is true doesn't mean you should be saying it.

For the sake of your mental health, get $ 50.00, go to Yonge street and have some Touch tonight.

Getting back to the first question.

I'm 6 months as of friday (hence the new sig). I'm thinking about staying on, but don't know if I could commit to another year.

After that, europe and grad school in Canada.

I am dreaming of this... Another nine months and I am out. That'll be two years straight in the "Land of the Morning Babo Call." Then back to sunny Australia in the winter... Anyone Australians here know where 1770 or Agnes Waters are in Queensland? Just two months on the beach with my GF... Then....

Back to Korea... For one more round... And that will be it. No more...

I have 10 months left on this contract, then I'll extend it by 3 or 4 months. After that, The Big Trip followed by a return to Korea or more grad school.
