Hey, you two who are leaving in 4 weeks and are already starting to miss Korea --
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!
(yeah, I know it doesn't fit that situation. I just wanted to say it.) |
And, so, you must be punished. |

Honestly, I was back in Canada for a few weeks this summer and I couldn't get over how disgustingly obese many people were, male and female alike. Horrendous. Lots of beautiful looking people too, no question. But everywhere I looked I saw people who were disgustingly fat. Do these people not have an inner voice that says to them, "Hmm, maybe an apple would be nice," or "Maybe I shouldn't have that third double cheese burger," or "Boy I'm getting really fat and unattractive. Maybe I'll go for a walk."
One of the few good things about Korea is not having to look at obese people.
Nice to hang around with slim people again. (Friday nights in Itaewon not included.) |

You sound a little ridiculous...
Some people are built different.
You do realize that if many westerners ate the same foods as what Asians are used to eating, and int he same quantities, they'd blow up huge.
Many Asians are borderline anorexics or straight up bulimics to maintain their percieved body types. They are so afraid of appearing fat to people that they choke or starve themselves.
I also think it's ridiculous to be obese just because you can't stop eating and are totally glutinous...but seriously...sometimes Asians jsut metabolize better. They could eat the same thing that you eat and not gain a pound.
I'm Asian, you should see the crap that I ingest on a daily basis and the amount that I do....it would make lots of white people look like the Goodyear Blimp. |

I am not a fat person but this kind of post bothers me.
It is already widely known that some people, whatever the reasons, have hard time losing weight. And some people find the enjoyment of food to be greater than anything else. As such why should they give rats a** what you think about them.
Being fat of course is not good for health. But you are not exacly concerned about their heatlh, are you?
