Pop on those headphones, fire up the i-Pod and you can hear all of those tunes around Bundang...Good DJ's?

Well, if you go to Hongdae on a Friday night, which is on the ass end of Seoul from where Bundang is, you may be lucky enough to hear dancehall/dnb/breakbeats/jungle, but probably not any dancehall. Time to start downloading most of any breakbeat/ragga influenced music.

As for house, you may be able to find some in Hongdae too. Plenty of trance and top 40 hip hop in Hongdae.

You could check www.clubgarden.co.kr and
www.02pro.com

Does anyone in Bundang still go to Posse? Is that place there anymore? That was like the "happening" "hip" place when I lived there, though I'm being a bit sarcastic...

Bundang just isn't much of a club zone

Club Cargo in Hongdae has a monthly dnb event. They get decent DJ's in too - the last few months have seen London Electricity, DJ Patife, and Marcus Intalex all gracing the turntables. I've heard that Bar Nana in Itaewon does a breakbeat on a Friday night, but haven't actually been yet. Anyone know about this? As for the dancehall/dub/reggae, unfortunately my apartment is the only place I know as yet where I can hear it in Korea... Sad

I live in Bundang also. I'm big into techno and hard house but its tough going . Your best bet is Hongdae. Itaewon music sucks, and Kangnam is worse. My suggestion? Go to Japan once a month and live it up for a weekend.
