Another Question:
If a contract was signed with a gagwon - but no visa was processed with the school - can the teacher freely choose to work elsewhere? |

| You can walk away from a signed contract, but it's a good idea to do it tactfully and as long before the job starts as possible. Theoretically, a school could sue you for supposed loss of earnings by potentially being left without a teacher to teach classes. Although, I've never heard of this actually happening because it's simply too expensive for either party to take each other to a court. Better though to have done your research and not sign the contract in the first place. |
