Seriously, why didn't Itaewon guy just say where he got the tickets. This has BS written all over it, especially after researching it thouroughly at the thought of cheap flights.

Yes, very hard to find this deal. I had to check an obscure little airline called, um, Korean Airlines.

I missed a previous post about that after looking back. But, for your sarcasm, do you really expect someone to check every departure place to every possible arrival place? I didn't try Cheongju I did go to several travel agent and tried whypaymore.co.kr and koreanair, thaiair, ANA, China Airlines, JAL, and a couple others I knew

Why would I check every departure to every arrival? That would be moronic. What I would do is check for special fares (which, in case you missed it, this deal to China qualifies as.) Lo and behold, Korean Airlines has a link called "Internet Special Fare" right on the front page. Then, I would click that link and see what popped up.

As far as the sarcasm, do you really feel you deserved a polite response after implying the O.P. was a liar? In any case, I've provided you with the information, so what are you complaining about?

Dunno, check the last minute e-fares maybe. Of course, you'd have to be ready to travel in about 2 days.

Edit: Just checked Asiana, they've also got a "Hot Deals" type link. Nothing for 200,000 though, but some stuff at 300,000 on up. No idea whether they're booked or not.
