| Paid 100 bucks in Daegu. I suppose it depends on what type of place you go to. Also Guinness isn't beer. |

I love Chinese hot pot. Deamn near made me spill seeds in my pants when I first had it in Shanghai.
They had every kind of meat and vegetable to choose from on the menu, including snakes and earthworms! That's not what I opted for though... |

If all ales are beer and Guinness is an ale, then Guiness must be a beer. |

Guinness is a stout. Sorry I am being pedantic, but people don't refer to guinness as beer in Ireland (where I am from) and where it is made.
Oh and also have to say if you like Guinness, I'd recommend Murphys which I much prefer.
To choose a beer, I'd say Kronenberg(sp).
Oh yea and even thoug it's the first pint I ever ordered (and recieved) in a bar(15 and 11 months), Harp lager sucks balls. |

I had one for the first time last weekend. Serviceable, but too dry for my palate.

I doesn't matter what you call it, it's still beer. I say Cass and Hite are horse-piss, but that doesn't make them any less a beer. |

Well yea, I see what you mean.
I just have never thought of the two together. Anyway I think Guinness is terribly over rated.
I wince every time I hear a friend refuse the offered pint, and ask instead for a 'glass of guinness'.
Anyway, anyone know where to find the Kronenberg in Daegu?
nuch obliged |

Well, the way I see it, some beers are made to go down easily, possibly to get you drunk quickly or quench your thirst, while others are made to be sipped slowly over a good conversation. Guiness is of the sipping kind.
Speaking of beers that should be sipped for full enjoyment. Any of you tried this one?
