I love how some dude has a gig like this, is leaving, and is asked by the people involved to help find a replacement. Then the teacher immediately thinks, .... hey I can make another 2 mill off these people.

I'm referring to an advertisement from another website where a teacher is selling 4 million won of illegal private lessons for 2.0 million.

So for that 2 million does this guy guarantee at least a year of work? What about cancellations? What about holidays when you don't get paid?

Just find someone to fill in you clown and forget the two million to pad your account. If only the '2 young ladies' knew what a scumbag you are.

Mod Edit: Removed quoted ad since it has already been removed from the forum

Really? Does immigration agree with this?

I care about these people, but of course I'll take the two million regardless of whether they're qualified.

Less than scum. The scum that gets scraped off scum.

Although I can see why you're jumping on him, I've seen a few people do this when they had to go back home. They built up a curriculum and a good number of students to form a "business", so giving this away is like selling off a business isn't it?

It would be funny if immigration phoned the number and tricked him into meeting them. He did after all write a confession about teaching illegally for 2 years. That would be a big fine.

First, to the OP, please take his name and number out so this won't be deleted.

Second, I loved this part...
Quote:

The work is absolutely cake, at Yaksu you play a tape and go through a Superkids series book with a group of 4-5 well-behaved children and also have some one-on-one with kids that speak very well, just free conversation. At Maebong, it's free conversation with small classes of no more than 3 students and they have these Backpack series books where half of it is watching them color pictures...ridiculously easy..

He is one of the major problems with the industry. Seriously, he needs a good professional ass kicking for that one.

Not surprising as he probably slept in class

This has been going on for at least 15 years. The selling of privates by a departing teacher has always been a part of the ESL expat community. And that's the way it was/is.
