Buy Skylife, cable is pretty limited.

They are, as long as Man U, Tottenham, or Reading are playing... Wink

Problem is, they're on either late night, or early morning.

The Reading - Man City game is on tonight / this morning at 4 am on MBC-ESPN.

Champion's League (Liv - PSV) is on 3 am Wednesday morning on MBC-ESPN, while the Barcelona game is live on Star Sports (Skylife), and on MBC-ESPN at 6 am

(Man U vs. Celtic) starts at 3 am Thursday morning on both channels, with the Lyon - Real Madrid game shown at 6 am on MBC-ESPN.

This weekend, MBC-ESPN has Reading - Sheff. Utd. at 11 pm on Sat., while Star Sports has Bolton Wanderers Vs Middlesbrough at 11 pm, with Watford Vs Aston Villa at 1 am.

On Sunday, MBC-ESPN is showing Man U - Arsenal at midnight, with the Tottenham - Fulham game rebroadcast at 2 am. However, it's live on Star Sports at 11 pm, with the West Ham United Vs Newcastle United game being replayed at 1 am.

I use the Skylife page to get schedules (mainly for sports...it's the only way to find out what game Sky Sports is showing). Even if you don't have Skylife, you can use it to find info on channels that you do have, like MBC-ESPN. Of course, you'll need some Korean ability to navigate and read the schedules, but not a lot...

http://www.skylife.co.kr/index.html

At the top of the page, just mouse over '채널가이드' and then click on '편성정보' You can only choose four channels at a time, but the schedule goes about 10 days into the future.

And KWhitehead, while you may not have Star Sports, I've never heard of a cable package that doesn't have MBC-ESPN. It may be listed as MBC SPORTS or something, but if you've got cable, you've PROBABLY got it. Try flipping through the channels at 11 pm this Saturday.

You complained that premiership games aren't 'live'. If you've seen replays of premiership games, that would've been on MBC-ESPN...they're the only ones with the TV rights...

Good luck!

FYI, it would appear that MBC-ESPN has decided to go live with the Tottenham game at 11, and show the Man. U game (an hour late) at 1 am (kickoff's at midnight, Korean time). I'm guessing this is because Park Ji Sung's injured (our for 3 months), but honestly, I think Lee Young Pyo's got as much chance of playing tomorrow as Ji Sung... Wink

On another note, great first goal in the Premiership for Seol Ki Hyeon...what a strike!

I've got the MBCESPN site up in front of me, it says Spurs Flam at 11 and Moan Utd at 1pm. Do they have different broadcasts on cable and satellite?

No, same schedule, but they changed it...hence my last reply.

Earlier in the week, before Ji Sung got injured, the Man. U. game was on live at midnight, with the Spurs game following. However, I noticed during last night's Reading game that they kept flashing that the Spurs game would be live at 11, so I checked, and sure enough, they changed the schedule

It would appear MBC-ESPN has gone back to Plan 'A'...Man U. - Arsenal game's on LIVE (guess the fact that Lee Young Pyo wasn't playing swayed them...)

Quote:

Hello,

I am Stephany Noh, a programming producer at CJ Media XTM Channel.
We are hooking up live Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal games, and we're looking for a person to help us host the show.

For a slight introduction about our channel, XTM is an 'extreme' channel that airs the most popular sports programs around the world live in Korea. This channel ranks in the top 10 ratings in the cable network and is famous for its sports programs.

We are looking for a British person quite comfortable with the Korean language. It will be a paid job about one or two games a week usually during the weekends after 10pm or whenever the game is broadcasted in the UK.

The pay will be negotiated depending on the competency of Korean.

Give me a call ASAP.

Thank you so much for your time.

02 3440 4687 (in Seoul)

010 7727 3998 (in Seoul)

Sincerely,

Stephany Noh
