I've always had an LG phone, simple as pie. Dial 114 on your LG phone. They speak English.

Now I apparently have to return the phone today or recontract. If I recontract I will have to pay more, I don't know how much more, but more. They are pushing for me to put it in someone else's name again.

I have tried to contact LG Telecom on the phone by dialing 114, but no dice... as it was never activated I cannot dial out.

My girlfriend went to their website and did some reading, apparently I have to have lived in Korea for 90 days to get on a monthly plan... what the f*ck... here I want to point out that I am on my second contract and that my bank book (which they inspected) clearly shows 13 months of residency here in the ROK... so what the hell is wrong with this picture?

I don't understand... seriously I think all those guys at the shop are numbskulls or shysters, the jury is still out on which... but I am leaning towards shysters.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread they attempted to overcharge me 100,000 won when I went there the 2nd time without my girlfriend. When she went back with me the 3rd time and got the lower price without any hassle whatsoever, they offered it to her, no negotiation... she told them that many other shops had tried to cheat me when I went by myself... they of course adopted the look of mock shock and said that that was terrible and that we should report those shops to some agency.

Ha.

I will return the phone and do some more research. My concern at this point is that the receipt they gave me doesn't mention the amount I paid, something tells me my refund will be less than I gave them.
