I'm leaving soon, with my cat. Just was wondering how you got to the airport with your pet. I was going to just do the Airport Bus, but have also been thinking a taxi may be better.

I've been told the Airport Bus isn't real keen on taking pets, and won't let you take them on the bus, but will put them down with the luggage. That seems a little scary and mean. Granted, just the first step of a long scary haul for the cat anyway.

Do taxis have a problem taking people with pets out to the airport? Is there a number for a taxi service that does airport runs? Or, should i just go stand on the side of the street with him, and HOPE a cabbie stops that doesn't care, and is happy for a big fare to the airport? Are most cabbies happy to go to the airport, anyway? I've had experiences with cabs that don't want to go TOO far out of their "regular route."

Anyways, if you've done it, was just wondering how you went about it, and how it went. Thanks.

The bus driver made me put my dog in the cargo section, but when he realized my dog's yelping sounded like a woman was trying to escape being raped and everyone was looking, he relented. Taxi drivers didn't ever seem to mind having a dog, but a cat...

Well, if it's a cat, why not just snip its tail and let it run free with the other Korean cats?

Cat should be fine on the bus as long as it's in a carrier. I've taken my Toni on the express bus before without a problem. I've even taken her on KTX a time or two.
