Hi,

I have a French friend who is very interested in coming to seoul to teach. He has an MBA from Brussels university and would like to teach French. I know the market for ESL teachers is very well developped, but where should i send him to try and search for a job teaching French. Is it possible to do in Seoul? Does the market exist? if so where?

thanks for any help you can provide

Hi

There is an Alliance Francaise here in Seoul which promotes the French language through language classes and cultural events. He could try there.
Also what about contacting the unis which teach French and the foreign language high schools and asking them if they need a language assistant.

Here is the link to the address for the Alliance Francaise in Seoul: http://www.alliancefrancaise.com.hk/en/apropos/otheraf.html

I always thought the big French stronghold in Korea was in Busan. Seems to me there are tons of Koreans running around down there speaking French, more so than in Seoul. But that's just what *I* experienced.
