I actually want to learn guitar....and for the right price....I want an acoustic.....is that the same thing? Call me stupid.

acoustic guitars have steel strings, whereas classical guitars have nylon strings. Plus, the necks of classical guitars tend to be wider. You'd probably want to get yourself an acoustic guitar.

I was concerned about that. I tried playing my brothers guitar when I was at home and I had extreme difficulty with it. I'm not used to positioning my hands like that.......I playpiano and it is a totally different positioning. I think a wider neck would be a bit more difficult for me....plus I have really small hands.
