If you are from Ontario, you can go to the LCBO and get just about any popular beer you can think about from around the world. Funny thing is, it's about the same price as Canadian beer. |
This is a major, major exaggeration, bordering on an outright lie. |
I just thought I would quote this again. This is from the lcbo website:
MOLSON CANADIAN
Canada | MOLSON'S BREWERY OF CANADA LIMITED
LCBO 904409 | 473 mL | $ 2.00
MOLSON CANADIAN
Canada | MOLSON'S BREWERY OF CANADA LIMITED
LCBO 681502 | 625 mL | $ 3.15
CZECHVAR PREMIUM LAGER
Czech Republic | BUDEJOVICKY BUDVAR
LCBO 591230 | 500 mL | $ 2.45
As you can see, take a typical Canadian beer (a crappy one at that) and compare it to a good Czech beer. The prices are almost the same. |

I too agree with the prices of imported beer in Ontario, both at LCBO and the beer stores. I have not purchased a regular canadian beer in ontario since about 2000.
Its been imported beer for me when home, while visiting a buddy in toronto he told me about it and its so true, do the math. Imported beer is the very close to the same price as the normal regular beers and in some cases cheaper than the premium beer in canada. |

Without a doubt Beer Lao is the best beer in Asia I've had.
What a way to kill an evening sitting along the Mekong with a huge bottle like 800 ml for 8000 kip (80 cents)
In Vientianne you can take a tour of the brewery, very cool |

Right On!
Beer Leo is a great beer. Koreans could learn a lesson from this small and impoverished country and brew a half decent beer.
Back in Canada in the summer and tried a light beer from Okanoagon Breweries. Wow! absolute best light beer I ever tasted I think it was called 1516.
Korean beer is horrible with too many chemicals in it. |

I was in the Philippines and drank the Miguel light and never once had a hangover...same with straight Miguel, so I like it. I really like Beer Chang and Singha from Thailand. I dislike Korean beers as I get bad hangovers from them, but if it had to choose, I would choose Prime.
I love Sapparo. My favorite beer is Hoegarten |

I came to Korea from Thailand, where I enjoyed Beer Chang and Beer Singha. Can either of these be purchased in Pusan or Dague? I'm out in the country and would gladly make the trip. I had dinner at a Thai restaurant in Pusan that had Singha on the menu, but no dice. They said it was no longer being imported. |
