I think the live album is called "From here to Eternity". I am on holiday now so can't check the disc, I bought it in Thailand from a street vendor so you never know how accurate the titles are.

Sweet as, PD. Now all I gotta do is find a download. No such album for love nor money down under. Here's a little read about the above-mentioned CD if anyone's interested.

Spin (12/99, pp.216-7) - 9 out of 10 - "...the myth comes kicking and screaming outta your speakers on a mission to decapitate Dave Matthews....Highly recommended..." Laughing

Charlie Don't Surf: A CINEMATIC TRIBUTE TO JOE STRUMMER

I really like Sandinista.

It's a double album and - as always with doubles albums - there's a lot of material on there that's a bit dull and should've been left out. But the highlights - 50-60% of the songs are amazing - are classic stuff. It's almost trippy some of it.

Highly underrated album that one. Maybe that's why it's so hard to pirate a download from the net.
-great tunes...
The Leader
Washington Bullets
Magnificent Seven
and Broadway

An interesting interpretation of One More Time from http://sandinista.guterman.com/

A big clash fan here too.

Lot of good tunes.

I'm still in the eighties and before about most music I guess.

I think London Calling was a damn good record.

As were others.

I've been working through this
for about 6 months now. It reads a bit like an essay (interpretive style) with tiny tiny text, so it's a slog, but very detailed and reflective. Not too bad.

Oh yes. In New York City while he was touring for one of his solo records in... 1990? Pretty amazing though some punk chicks teased me in the line out front for not looking punk enough. Mad

I have that Clash live album. I've had it for years, I bought in a used cd/book store in Toronto about five years ago. It fell out of my cd rotation over the past five years, but in the packing for Korea I had to select which cds were coming with me, and I had to bring it (my only clash cd). I put in my discman for the bus ride to work and it stayed there for a week. An amazing album.

Saw The Clash several times in New York. I was a big fan back in the day. Great band.
