Hi. I am trying to put together a CV to send to Korean employers. I've never done one before and was wondering if anyone has any advice/do's and dont's. Would appreciate any examples to give me an idea of how to go about it. Cheers.

CV's should be an easily readable list of classes you have taken that pertain to your field of study or practice.

Scan a copy of your transcripts that show your graduation. Make that available to people that ask for it. They seldom ask or at least they seldom ask me to see a copy.

Keep it to one page.

Tailor it to your job search: only include relevant experience!

Triple check it for mistakes.

I would black-out all the other personal data like SSN, DOB, etc. which could be used for any type of credit application. Do that to your passport also when you get it scanned.

And if you like, you can cut and paste G.W. Bush's face on your passport photo and see what they say. Laughing
