"The Office" has been on AFN for the past couple of Thurs. evenings (7pm). It's interesting, but I hate the boss so much- he annoys the hell out of me. I'm not sure if I can watch, because the character is so annoying! Some of the other characters are a little annoying, too- just flat, and kind-of dumb. I dunno- maybe you have to have a certain sense of humor for the show.. Some parts were pretty funny, and I loved it when the Indian woman slapped the boss last night, but man, I really, really want to see the boss get owned, and that doesn't seem to be purpose of the show. I wanted to see Mr. Brown (the diversity trainer) go off on the boss last night, as well, but he didn't, so I was disappointed about that, too. I guess I have to get used to it- when I think something typical will happen, and it doesn't... Maybe I'm too programmed when it comes to sitcoms~

Happily, my TV is rarely switched on.

i used to hate StarGate SG-1, but then i realized how hot Richard Dean Anderson had become. damn! and the "groundhog's day" episode made me laugh.

i really can't stand Babylon 5 or the new Battlestar Galactica.

I've become more and more bored with tv as I've gotten older- maybe it's an age thing, Wangja^^

Perwinkle, darling. I assume you like Friends, Sex and The City and Desperate Housewives...that kind of thing?

All absolute shyte.

But yeah, to enjoy The Office, you have to have a dry sense of humor. I would like to hear about your experiences with the original--now that was brutal.

By the way: Lost sucks too.

Ah- you assume because I'm female, I like the above shows? Sadly, I have been here too long, and don't know about Desperate Housewives (I don't download, either- too busy cooking and cleaning when I come home from work^~). Oh- Eva Longoria annoys me, too, so I don't think I could watch it. My favorite show is Law and Order~ again, more proof that I'm getting too old for tv? My grandmother LOVED that show... I'd watch more Korean dramas, probably, if I could understand them better- they're just so... dramatic....

Law and Order rocks.

I was too hasty, but it wasn't a chick thing, it was a "those are the shows that everyone who sucks likes" thing.

Diagnosis: You do not suck. In fact, you are so cool, I am going to designate an individual color for you. You are now: Periwinkle.

Don't know about "hate", but there are many I don't watch--Seinfeld, Simpsons, CSI, Law and Order, The Practice, Desperate Housewives, etc--don't get the attraction.

I will watch Sex and the City if it's on and there's nothing else.
