I'm looking for 8.5 x 11 paper (North American standard). I've tried Costco, Walmart, and a few Korean office supply stores, to no avail. Any help is much appreciated. |

It's non-standard almost everywhere. Try the US bases. |

It's known as A4 paper in these parts, virtually the same size, will fit your homegrown printer. Welcome to the metric world. The only nations who haven't signed on are the USA, and, I believe, Somalia (they've been preoccupied with civil war, famine, the sort of things that make measurement conversion inconvenient). America is the last bastion of the measurement tools of the Middle Ages. Somewhat ironic. |

This 51st state notion I reject. No way the second largest nation on earth can be folded into the USA as one state. You think Texans are going to support the creation of a single contiguous state larger than itself! Not on your life buddy! Hell, you could divide Canada into the 51st, 52nd, and 53rd states and we'd still be too damn big for Americans used to calling lil dinky landmasses like Delaware a state.
Assuming Canada would have to be divided into states smaller than Texas (a state with an area of two hundred and sixty seven thousand square miles), you would divide Canada's six million square miles into twenty three slightly smaller-than-Texas-sized states. |

No, Bushie would never want to go pre-emptive on the only country, other than the UK, which still doesn't thoroughly hate his guts. Condi and Peter Mackay were said to be enjoying the Atlantic lobster and the prevailng breezes; a romantic novel would have had them wildly coupling in the upper floor of the Pictou Resort; an R-rated Ann of Green Gables , if it were to happen, would just be one foreign minister engaging with another, and stoking Jon Stewart with material for a week. |

I've got a graphics project to submit. One of the requirements is 8.5 x 11 paper (Norther American standard). It's tought to find, even on the base. |
