Or atleast it seems that way. I was going by a hagwon, and on the front it said it excelled in cheativity. I don't think it is good to have a hagwon excelling in cheativity, do you?
I am pretty sure they were going for creativity though Funny how one letter in the right context can make all the difference. |

Though cheating in the classroom is very popular among Korean students. They are highly creative when it comes to cheating. |

Not my students. But then again I rarely say anything to them about it as long as they are not being to obvious about it. |

Some teachers flip out on it, and watch the kids like hawks. My philosophy is that if a kid cares enough to cheat, he must be motivated, either by being hit or mentally abused or maybe it's within himself to be the best. Whatever the reason, I don't go out of my way to look for it, and I'm lucky because I can teach my classes how I want to, and that means putting less emphasis on tests, and more on songs, speaking, and learning at a natural, not forced pace. These kids are sooo over-tested, and over-stressed, if they don't get caught, more power to 'em. |

I agree 100%. After all, I've cheated sometimes when I was in school. |

Try it, you get a day off while they are doing the test, the parents love it, you find out which kids are faking they understand, and you get better classes because the kids are more focused. The only downside is marking takes a while, but you get to know your kids better. They actually seem to almost like taking tests. weirdos. |

Ok, it's on the way to Seoul in my town, the way I usually never go (my work and Emart are the other way, but I will definitely have it up by next Sunday)! |

Really? My kids usually whine like crazy when I give them a test. Made a 2nd grade boy cry last week with my math test (addition and subtraction). |
