Animal bordellos draw Norwegians
Denmark's animal bordellos reportedly draw Norwegian clients, but both countries have loopholes that make such establishments legal.
Here a Danish animal owner offers his horse to a Danish journalist claiming to be interested in animal sex.

Neither Denmark nor Norway has a prohibition on sex with animals, as long as the animals do not suffer.

On the Internet Danish animal owners advertise openly that they offer sex with animals, without intervention from police or other authorities, Danish newspaper 24timer reports.

In correspondence with the animal owners, the newspaper was told that the animals involved have many years of experience and that the animals themselves wanted sex. The cost to the client varied from DKK 500-1,000 (USD 85-170).

Legal gray area
The Norwegian Food Safety Authority's section chief for animal welfare, Torunn Knvelsrud, could not rule out that such a bordello could be legal here as well.

"It is difficult to say yes or no," Knvelsrud told Aftenposten.no.

As long as basics like shelter, feed and care are in place, and injury or suffering to the animal can not be documented, there are no other ways to attack an animal bordello under existing Norwegian law.

"It could be that the animals don't really care," Knvelsrud said. "But I think it is in the nature of the case that animals will often be victims of injury, stress or suffering in connection with sexual acts with humans. Either that they are held fast, or frightened, or suffer pain or physical injury," Knvelsrud said.

New legislation?
A new Norwegian Animal Protection Act is underway and there have been proposals, from the Norwegian Animal Welfare Alliance among others, that sexual intercourse with animals must be forbidden.

"The acts provoke moral disgust. The question is whether immorality should be made illegal. The FSA group discussing the new animal protection act has been in disagreement about this," Knvelsrud said.

According to the 24timer report, Germans, Dutchmen, Swedes and Norwegians visit the Danish bordellos, and a web site devoted to bestiality claimed that many of Denmark's animal sex clients stem from Norway.

A farmer who sells animal sex said he is extremely surprised that foreigners are ready to travel so far for it.

"But the clients tell us that it is much simpler to buy animal sex in Denmark than in their own country," a horse owner from Nord-Jylland told the newspaper.

A new dissertation from the Institute of Criminology at the University of Oslo showed that Norwegian veterinarians know of at least 124 cases of animal sex abuse in Norway. The thesis reports that 22 percent of Norwegian veterinarians suspect or are sure that they have treated animals that have been sexually abused by humans.

The authorities seem more concerned with the mental health of the animal than with the perverted mind of the offender.

Ugh. Now I know why so many Danes are converting to Islam: Their country has become too secular and they feel there is a spiritual vacuum.

Too secular? Rolling Eyes
There are so many problems with that statement you are not worth the time to argue them.

What are you talking about? Jordanians like to have sex with goats.

For that matter, there are probably more than a few frightened camels running around the Arabian peninsula.

I thought Jordanians liked to go to Indonesia and screw prostitutes. It wouldn't surprise me if your testimony is accurate; certain cultures are obsessed with creating strong warriors and make prohibitions against women coming into contact with men. But I don't think the Danes fall under this category.

The Tijuana Donkey Show is a popular tourist attraction, but that doesn't mean bestiality is acceptable in Judeo-Christian tradition.

Is bestiality legal in the countries you mentioned?I doubt they have institutionalized 'inter-species sex venues' specifically for the occasion. After legalizing bestiality, what's left? Marrying animals? "With this collar, i thee wed ."

Funny. Thankfully good old Christian England has got it the right way round. Marriage first.

No secular angst for the British.

a fake/novelty marriage.... not exactly what i was referring to.
but thanks for the laugh.

MarryYourPet is not responsible for anything, ever; forever. In fact we frequently talk with our mouths full, don't know the Green Cross Code, and often go out without an umbrella. None of us were milk monitors at school.

Although happy to marry you, we cannot guarantee that you will be happy. MarryYourPet is in no way responsible for anything nasty occurring. If your marriage breaks down or you can no longer stand their smelly breath, it's entirely your own problem. If Fido eats your mother or Fluffy pees in your trainer, we will only laugh.

This is a marriage of minds and companionship. You have no conjugal rights. For sake of clarity: You are not permitted to have sex with your pet.

This marriage is recognised neither by law nor church, but by the much higher realm of the great pet god in the sky - Mr. Mustofales*. Although a mere cat, he is omniscient. Don't think you can fool him, ever. If you mistreat your pet, or (heaven forbid) give him supermarket's own pet food, he will know and you will surely suffer.

No animals were harmed in the making of this website, but several people had their fingers bitten and one was humiliated by a parrot.

MarryYourPet has the right to alter its policies at any time, especially if this renders us less responsible. We can also change anything on the site, at any time, and when you visit you're bound by those changes too.

If you disclose anything to us - it's ours. If you sleep walk to the post box and accidentally mail us something that you don't want us to have - it's ours. If you don't disclose it, but your Auntie's Uncle (or even your Auntie's Uncle's dog) does so without your permission - it's still ours. And as it's ours, we may do what we like with it. Yep, we can broadcast, disclose or publish it. We can take your ideas, market and develop them, make a fortune and not even send you a dodgy thank you card. Probably we won't even want to, but just so as you know that we can.

Enjoy your marriage and have a nice day.

Marryyourpet was pretty hilarious.
I don't understand this related article though:
http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article608096.ece

How could they convict this man if it's legal in Denmark? Does the "owner" have to give consent?
