Got an email today:
"I'm Lena, a vice-president at Herald School, Jamsil.
I saw your resume on daveseslcafe web site and I'm very interested. Our academy is located in Jamsil, a central city of Seoul.
School : Private Academy City : Jamsil"
Tried looking up some information, was just wondering if Herald School is the same thing as Kids Herald (so many horror stories on this forum, almost too scared to go to Korea!).
I'll try not to clog up the forum with too many threads, just a slow day today. |

Not all Herald institutes are cruddy. So, checking out this one might be a good idea for you.
A new branch of Kang's International School is opening up twenty minutes by bus from Ilsan's Daehwa Station in Newtown Paju City on October 1st, and they may need another instructor by as early as November 1 or as late as the first of January.
Daehwa is the nicest locale in Greater Seoul in my opinion, and the school already bought very nice studios there near a Bennigan's Restaurant for the teachers. Anyway, Daehwa Station is but a twenty minute ride via Express Bus to the school's front door.

This is the same chain that you have heard so many horror stories about.
Sign at your own risk. Do real good, first hand homework BEFORE you sign anything. |
