Hi, I'm a new public school teacher working in Hongseong in Chungcheonnam-do. I'm looking for a used computer (desktop or laptop) and a used scooter or cheap used car. Anyone have one for sale or know of any good places to buy them in this province? |

Why bother with a used computer when your neighborhood computer shop can make you one for about the same price as a good used one. |

That's what I'll probably do, but sometimes - for example when people are leaving the country - they sell their used computer for below the usual asking price. |

Or, since you are in a public school AND not in Seoul, ask if they can supply you with a PC at home. They often will make that accomodation.
They did for my co-worker. It's not a state of the art core duo but it is fine for watching DVDs, burning CDs, surfing and a few games.
I know others who were given a computer as part of their home furnishings package from the school. Just ASK. The worst they can do is say no. |
