...because you see, it's much more important for Bush to pander to his right-wing freak friends than for his *beeped up* admin to give money to save women like Prudence.

The faster that idiot gets booted out of office the better for everyone. And I hope it's by the biggest, most embarassing loss ever recorded in the history of American politics.

How could he "lose"? He can't run for re-election. Just confused by your choice of words, there. Also it seems to me that the real jerks are the people at the hospital who care more about $80 than saving a woman's life.

I don't think giving UN money to people like Dr. Pipi is the answer. He'd probably use it to buy a BMW for himself instead of much needed medical equipment.

If congress investigated McCarthy/Clinton why not Bush? I'd like to think that he'd lose by a longshot but maybe the Whitehouse won't let it so? i dunno.. But yeah agreed on that it'd be better for everyone when he's gone. Mmm nasi goreng...

Do you really think Prudence did not receive the surgery because there was no money?

In a nation as corrupt as Cameroon, do you think even if the U.S. gave, say, $100 million no strings attached, it would be used to provide care? It would disappear long before it got down to that one hospital and even if a bit did, the doctor would simply pocket it and do nothing.

you're right. but isn't it still deplorable that Bush stopped giving money to the program (even if only 1% of the funds might have actually helped)?

Bush has done enough far more deplorable things that we do not need to make up things to blame on him. Seriously.

If anyone is interested in some ideas on how chronically corrupt countries like Cameroon can be helped (and why throwing money at them does not help), I recommend the book The Undercover Economist

I'd prefer the Dems win both houses and hold a nice, long, nasty and belligerent impeachment. Then we can have a nice, long, nasty and belligerent trial for the various forms of treason he has committed. Guess what the penalty for being convicted of treason is?

And I'm generlly against the death penalty. While it would have zero preventative impact on future scumbags, I'd be more than happy in this one case to see the sentence carried out. But, hey, I'm all for the death penalty for ANYONE who is directly responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands.

Why don't you donate your own money if this issue is so important to you? Or, do you just like telling other people what to do with their money?

Well, Aldrich Ames got life. I think the last people to get the penalty you're referring to were the Rosenbergs, in 1953.

Here's another African "faith-based initiative" c/o Bush and his right-wing freak friends.

Sorry, but I hate that clown--it seems everything he touches turns to *beep*.
