| Hyosung Mirages have no kickstart and batteries that die after only a month or two. |

I found that as well with my Mirage. Also, I can't kick it into neutral while idling. Anyone have that same problem? It's a pain in the arse when I want to rest my left hand at traffic lights and such.
It's time to find a different bike...
Ah! Sorry to detract any potential buyers, but they should be aware of it's faults. |

yeah, I had the same problem with trying to get the bike into neutral...It seemed like it wasn't there at times (the green "N" never came on).. I had to keep it in 1st gear at stops with the clutch held in..
I had to replace the battery twice in the span of 2-3 months..It just seemed like it hogged up the battery to quickly.. It's really not fun when your battery goes out when your in the middle of nowhere with no bike shop around... |

Sorry Guys. May be your are unlucky, but for my motorbike, I just have to charged the battery after Winter time while I am not using it.
Neutral position: It works well.
So no problem, but if you don't mind, I am looking for a buyer, not opinion
Anyway thanks for these great tips. |

My Mirage didn't have an alarm, but the battery died on the ride home from the shop I bought it from. Turns out it had been sitting too long and was dead. Thing is, the guy at the shop drove out to my place and changed the battery, free of charge. Had one other problem with the bike a few weeks later and he again fixed it no charge. After those two problems, the bike ran fine for another 10 months or so. I did, however, ride it in the winter when the roads weren't slick.
They don't have kickstarts, but myself and another guy (friends with the shop owner where I got my bike) both had Mirages and never had any major hassles with them. |
