I am searching for the cheapest way to call someone long-distance, cell phone to cell phone, during the day and evening hours (9 am to 12 midnight) within Korea (calling from one Korean city to another). Any ideas? I've heard about a SkTelecom plan that offers free calls after midnight, but that's just not possible for me to use. Also, would using a land-line phone be any cheaper, even if only one party has one? If you could provide in your response details about phone companies and specific calling plans, I would appreciate it. Thanks. |

No cell-phone to cell-phone, but computer to cell-phone, the cheapest way to make ANY INTERNATIONAL call is Skype. Computer to cell-phone is $0.08 per minute (anywhere in the world) and computer to land line $0.02 per minute (anywhere in the world). I have called and received calls on my cell-phone from Canada while at a birthday party for my wife here in Korea.
Hands down the best way to make those international calls. |
