They talk about the V and T and then the S43.

Can't believe how poorly the korean ajosshi 'sells' the products on this video.
God forbid they would actually hire a foreigner who could actually speak coherent English. |

The only big improvement the i-station range could use is a video/audio record function. The Cowon does it. I'd like to transfer some old home movies from VHS to digital.
Even though it was just a guy with camcorder asking questions the salesman was terrible. Was this a tech show in the states?? Did he not expect anyone to ask him questions?? |

Just like Digital Cube to release a new model of the "next generation" of PMPs when they haven't even fixed all of the problems of the one they just released a few months previously. They should stop releasing prototypes and stick with a more solid product that is released with more time in between to get it right the first time.
Since I had to ditch my pmp1000 for exactly the reasons outlined above, I will never buy a digital cube/iStation player again. |

I get the feeling it was a tech show in Europe. They mentioned the European market a couple of times. |

They used to be the biggest fans of DC, actually. That site was previously the main hub for getting information on all matters related to DC products, including future firmware features, hardware releases, and support. But, like a lot of people did, the owner got fed up with the fact that DC seems to enjoy putting out crappy players with promises of firmwaring the glitches out and adding better options later, but then never getting around to it (at least for anything except players that run in a devoted Korean setting).
DCJames, I swear I remember seeing your name over at istationhq along with other prolific posters like TimK and aatwo. Am I mistaken? |
