man... i only had 3 beers and one bottle of soju over a span of like... 8 hours... ? how could that relatively little bit of alcohol put the fix on me... good lord...

Most likely one of two reasons:

1. An empty stomach.

2. You're not used to alcohol/have low tolerance for alcohol.

yes!!!!

i have the full-on evolving toxic hangover... i felt pretty good until a couple hours ago... now my head is splitting and i feel as if i might puke...

fantastic!!!!

oh what a feeling...

at least i made it through work ok

actually soju is the only thing I usually drink in this country. Usually though, cause I'm still not keen on the flavour of soju (or any alcohol), I mix it with Orange juice. It goes down very very nicely....too nicely I think. I've heard that mixing beer and soju can have disasterous effects.......I don't drink beer so I wouldn't know.

Oftentimes I will mix a bottle of soju and a 700 mL bottle of beer in a drinking class. No problems and not a bad highball.

the only times i've stooped to drinking soju is when i've had enough beer -so i'm addled enough to consider it.

and yes, everything has sucked for up to 48 hours afterwards.

i've never drank it on its own. i wonder what that would be like.
