Something tells me you're not a deep thinker.

It's not a stupid question. In this case, people ARE NOT people - to twist an expression. Every culture has its own characteristics. You can't say marrying a Spanish woman is the same as marrying an English woman. Or compare Japanese ladies with Korean. Same?

Same-same.

Sorry, I am competing with your profundity.

I refuse to believe this about you. And if your husband suggests this, he is a cad.

Protip: to make a comparison you need a point of reference.

I was asking for an opinion. I guess you've been in Asia too long. That's an Asian characteristic - not being able to come up with your own opinion.

What's wrong with you guys? I just asked an honest and open question and I get this barrage of attacks.

Flotsy, my husband is an absolute jewel. But there are a few days each month when all women have the potential to become the same Scary-She-Beasts. White, black, red, yellow--that's just the way it is. Find some strategies to survive those and the rest is easy--you'll live a long, happy life together Very Happy

I have never been married to a Korean woman but I think I speak for everyone when I say "when can we eat the dog"?

Actually, you CAN generalize. Most people would agree that Koreans are far more emotional and impatient than other Asians in this part of the world. These general characteristics are what partly constitutes a culture.

This charateristic, expressing emotion, would indeed have an impact on a person's marriage. It could make for a very open and honest marriage or a miserable one where your spouse is grating on your nerves. I wanna know which ones foreigners are having with Korean ladies.

Half-hearted potential positive first...

Firmer potential negative second...

It's almost painful to watch unfold.

Not to mention this gem: "other Asians in this part of the world."

Oh, boy.

P.S. Rolling Eyes

well, looks like I can't get a sincere and straight answer to this question. If I had asked about Japanese women, I would have gotten lots of positive posts. It's generally agreed that Japanese women make the best wives. Oh well...

Stupidest thread ever, and I started the whole Alba is a tranny thread. That tells you the depths of stupidity you just plunged to. Congrats!

But your thread is very insightful, has provoked a variety of responses, and has been brought up in other threads; some people have changed their avatars to Jessica Alba.

To the OP of this thread, I would say:

When you are out at the market, you'll see lots of different types of meat. Chopped meat, sliced meat, ground meat, colorfully arranged meat, even spiced and marinated meat. All in all though, it's still meat. However, even though the meat all looks the same, each piece or package or container of meat that you buy will have its own unique characteristics. Some of it will taste delicious, some a little old, some a little too stringy, some that seems to have little pieces of unidentifiable pieces of stuff you just want to spit out or stare at on your fingers with curiosity and disgust. Some of it can even make you sick and kill your children.

Some meat gets passed around the table. Some meat gets pulverized. Some meat gets dropped on the floor. Some meat gets fed to the dog.

Some people don't like meat.

Hmm- I've never thought compare a man to a piece of meat before.
I think some psychotherapists would have a field day with this board.

Dude, you need to go and have a nice kalbi dinner, or, ah, maybe visit your local meat market. I've heard Sinchon has very good quality, fresh meat^^

The only thing is that is completely wrong. You think the Chinese aren't emotional and impatient? Or the Thai (s)? etc etc The only people who would agree with that have so little understanding about Asia and the crap coming out of their mouth, their opinion, much like yours, is worthless.
