That's a nice story. What a refreshing change from the garbage we often see here on the boards.

Never a disappointment. Laughing

It sounds like a nice story.

But those frogs are delcious when prepared right.

You make yourself a proper batter. Then you start killing your frogs. You do this by cutting their heads off. The skin just slides right off.

Then you have to cut the leg tendons. If you don't, the legs will jump right out of the frying pan.

Frog legs--when properly prepared--are a real treat.

I eagerly await the official amphibian recipe thread.

I researched this a long time ago ... if communities did better planning before building new roads and built more underpasses (tunnels) and overpasses for wild animals, many of these accidents could be avoided.

The second closest I ever came to death (the first was hitting a bridge) was when I nearly hit a horse on a country road at night. I came around a sharp curve and there was a giant black horse, must have been 18 hands, trotting down the road.

Where I grew up, there was this flock of suicidal chickens that would run out in front of cars. They must not have been completely successful in killing themselves, because they were there for at least a decade, which would require quite a lot of reproducin'.

Sensible policies for a happier Britain.
