I'm looking for a nice cell phone; I'd prefer something not bashed up and preferably with a camera, maybe a second battery, although that's not too important. Any type [prepaid, plan] is OK so long as it's in great condition.
Please PM me if you have anything suitable to offer. I will be in Seoul next weekend and can travel from Chungnam for the right item.
Thanks in advance,

If you are serious about a nice phone for less money AND you are coming to Seoul then you should go to the Nanjin Arcade by Yongsan station.
This is just across from the OLD Yeongsan market (not to be confused with the space9 / i'park mall at the new yeongsan station.
You will find the phones are on the top floor (expensive and new) and for used phones go to the end of the building and then down the inside. You will see a tunnel full of phone stores.
There are also a bunch of phone shops with OK deals at the I'Park mall (upstairs @ Yeongsan station) but they usually cost more there.
I got a phone similar to what you are asking for, 9 months old (manufacture date is located under the battery on phones here) and it cost me 30k won.

Outstanding. Thanks for that great post. I'm coming to Yongsan on Saturday anyway, so I'll head to where you suggest and see what I can dig up.
Cheers,

If Yongsan doesn't offer what you want, drop by our store in Bucheon on subway line one where we have brand new LG Cyon models for 150 K won including accessories (extra battery, earphones-handsfree, hard case and with avi video, camera, MP3, intenna.) Get on a normal same-as-Korean monthly plan, be fully connected and operational with your phone number in an hour, and receive step by step instructions and advice to set up your software for PC sync (cam/music uploads/downloads.)
PM or e mail me if you ever need a good cellphone with normal direct debit monthly plan. |

OK well to cut a long story short I'm still looking for a decent phone. Cheapest I could find in Yongsan was an 80,000 won p.o.s. and that was after some serious looking (and haggling).
I've had enough of my time being wasted looking at ruined or clapped-out wrecks, so if you have something in great shape and want to sell it please PM me.
Thanks,
