|
|
Hi all.
I'm looking to strengthen up my voice for some future singing engagements, and I want to do it on the cheap.
I've been to all the "luxury" type singing rooms, and they're great for a group, but I want to go alone and practice, and build up my voice.
So, anyone know of any less than expensive noraebongs in the Sunae/SeoHyun area?
If so please let me know.
Carry on. |

Wrong.
Charles's house=right. Charles' house=wrong.

II. ELEMENTARY RULES OF USAGE
Form the possessive singular of nouns with 's.
Follow this rule whatever the final consonant. Thus write,
Charles's friend
Burns's poems
the witch's malice
This is the usage of the United States Government Printing Office and of the Oxford University Press.
Exceptions are the possessives of ancient proper names in -es and -is, the possessive Jesus', and such forms as for conscience' sake, for righteousness' sake. But such forms as Achilles' heel, Moses' laws, Isis' temple are commonly replaced by
the heel of Achilles
the laws of Moses
the temple of Isis
The pronominal possessives hers, its, theirs, yours, and oneself have no apostrophe. |
Mashimaro=wrong.
But not an iota as wrong in such matters as mulelord is on a daily basis. |

AHA!
Sincere apologies, Sir.
STRING THE OP UP BY HIS BALLS'S HAIRS'S!!!!
But Tib's place is OK. It's basically floating in a moat of Crown Royal, so how can you go wrong? You will just have to tolerate his diatribes on hippity-hop-slop and Nancy whatzername... |

That reminds me, yesterday NL and I were having one of our hour-long conversations, and the subject of what sort of gentlemen she finds attractive came up.
"Anyone who appreciates the poetry of Gary Snyder," she said. "Do you know anyone like that?"
"Sadly, no," I replied.

Fortunately I shave my ball hairs regularly.
I didn't realize there were punctuating pedants patrolling these waters. But anyway, anybody know some cheap noraes in Sunae/SeoHyun? |

Fully cognizant of the untrue nature of this tale, I am still crying and holding my blankie. That is the coldest thing anyone has ever said to me. |

I subscribe to a karaoke website, www.ksolo.com , and it costs ten dollars a month (or $100. a year...) for unlimited access to thousands of songs in various genres. The musical backups are very good. You just need a computer with broadband access and a decent sound card and a set of headphones with a microphone that you can easily get for under ten dollars. There's also sharing with, getting rated by, and feedback from other members if you want. I use it a lot in my English classes so it's definitely worth it for me despite some technical wrinkles that come up with recording and playback sometimes... |
