I have been looking after a cat and her kittens that were headed for the shelter for the past few weeks. I have decided to keep two of the kittens (that is all my small apt can accomodate!), but the mother and one of the babies are in need of a home!
The mother is really a lovely cat. I had originally planned on keeping her but I grew attached to the kittens! She has a beautiful long haired white coat and 2 different coloured eyes. She also has a gray patch on the top of her head. She is very friendly, and always loves attention and is not a biter at all.
The kitten is female (I think) and looks exactly like her mother, gray patch on the head and all. She is five weeks old right now.
So I think they would be ready to go in about three weeks (8 weeks is when kittens can be separated from their mother, right?)
I have tons of pictures that I can email you if you are interested.

if the kitten is female, i'll take her. i've got a vet friend who can take care of the spaying and shots. we've got a 1 1/2 year old neutered male kitty who's in need of a friend while my boyfriend and i are at public school. let me know if this sounds okay.

edit: i'm sorry, maybe i misread. are you looking for someone to take both or can they be separated. i don't think i can have 3...
