| So I'm flying out of Incheon on the Thursday morning... what kind of delays (getting there, lineups, whatever) should I expect? I've never tried to leave Seoul at Chuseok before so I have no idea... |

Use the train to Gimpo and catch the bus from there. It's not worth taking the risk of missing your flight.
Unfortunately I don't live in Seoul, so I have to take the bus.

Plan to be at the airport 3 hours before your scheduled departure.
Your travel time to the airport (airport express bus) can be up to 2 hours from Seoul (about 25% longer than usual) and correspondingly longer if you are farther away.
Plan to leave home about 6 hours or more before your flight and you will be a happy camper. |
