(You're Welcome to Play Along!)

My idea for a tv show is a take-off on the Bachelor. I guess you could call it the Bachelor with a twist.

What you do is get yourself one hunky white guy--someone like me.

The contestants looking to take this hunky white guy home would all be sexy black ladies.

Every week, the white guy would vote off another girl. Or maybe the audience would.

Each episode would feature a date or two. You could watch them making out in limos and in hot-tubs, etc.

I think it's a bit too controversial for network television. But it might be good for MTV.

I would call this show Jungle Love.

How about getting a drunk Southerner who likes to smoke pot. Maybe we could launch him out of a cannon or something. In future episodes we could have him walk over hot coals.

I like my idea better.

BTW, I don't walk over coals.

I handle snakes.

How about a sitcom set in North Korea? It would be heavy on political satire.

Or just a typical Korean gag show. All the same.

No, man. A sitcom where the main character would be Kim Jong Il, the paripathetic boss (non sequiturs would be his gimmick, "Boss,we harvested far less rice than expected because of the floods." "Send the ministry of agriculture for reeducation. Hey, do these pants make my ass look big?").

I'd like to make a show about nothing. You just follow this guy around and he has three friends, and it's about nothing.

Nothing!

Is this the topic I should put my bids in for Slaves? Or was that in the Buy Sell and Trade forum I forget. I know I read a topic about it somewhere around here.

How about a show based around low-budget dramatizations of historical oddities starring wacky ESLers with no acting experience, terrible accents, all under horrible production and direction? I smell a hit!

I had a great idea when I was drunk. It'd be a wheel of fortune drinking game. There's a big wheel that you spin, and you have to perform tasks. If you complete the task, you get a drink. The MC would be a hyper intellegent monkey in a tuxedo. It would be called "Let's Take a Drink!".

This is just between you, me, and the shrubbery though...

The Wheel of Booze...good idea except for the fact that most contestants would throw up after staring at the spinning wheel.

Whose line is it anyways but the audience has throwing stars if they don't like what's happenning.
Call it "Whose Throwing Star is in my Back?"
