A friend just gave me his old oven because his new place already has one....What would you cook if you had an oven?
I know about cookies and brownies and cakes and pizza (maybe), lasagna (if i can figure it out), but....what else?
I can't remember what I like since it's been so long since I've had one... |

Chocolate self-saucing pudding. Shepherd's pie. Roast chicken. Mousetraps. So many things. I'm lucky I have an oven too. |

I have an oven, and so can you. Just get you a George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Roaster Oven
:
This thing rocks, it's big enough to cook a whole chicken, it's easy to clean, fits in the cabinet under my sink when I'm not using it, and it cost only W80,000.
I've used it to make chicken and fish, roast mushrooms, and bake quiche. It'd be easy enough to bake cakes and bread in it, too. You could probably bake cookies in it if you wanted to, but you'd have to do 4 or so at a time, and that would be annoying. |

A roast. A proper big joint of beef with all the trimmings.
The trouble is...where would I get a joint of beef? |

You'd need a big oven to get that many children in... I hope you have some plans for roast potatoes with them! |

Aside from the cookies, cakes, pastries, I roast heads of garlic in there, and use the grill for roasting veggies (and salmon, when I have non-veggie guests.) |
