So...my lucid dreaming abilities have been expanding lately in terms of duration, memorability, control and instensity, however I still have one lingering obstacle.
Regularly during an LD, I experience several bouts of temporary blindness. It sets in gradually and I can sense it "coming." Things in my view get hazy, until they're gone. They last (if time exists in the LD world) for a minimum of 2 minutes up to 5 minutes. I usually just stop movement and wait it out, and when my sight is restored, I'm looking at the same thing I was when I initially lost it. I even remember advising a fellow LD'er (in a dream), as we were parting ways, to just wait patiently if he goes blind!
My questions are: Have any of you that have LD's experienced anything like this? Have you found a way around it? (or at least to minimize it?)
And finally, are there any other senses that you have lost in the midst of an LD, and how do you deal with it?

Much Thanks.

What's happening, Pidgen?

This question is best left to experts or books by experts.

From my experience, and I'm no expert, something in your life may be hindering your abilities in your dreams. Stress, an internal conflict or a looming decision could be the culprit.

I haven't been struck by blindness, but a loss quick reflexes or physical force is common to many people.
