Does the Seoul immigration office also cover Gyeonggi-do? And can an idividual be fine for a failed visa application? |

It covers SOME of Gyeonggi.

Click the link on the right that says "immigration branch office and jurisdiction"
You cannot be fined for a failed application but if you are in an overstay position or violating your current status of sojourn (working on a tourist stamp) you can be fined or worse.

Each city has its own immigration office, and the more foreigners that reside in that city, the bigger the office is and possess much more services.
Places like Inchon, Uijongbu and Dongduchon have a significant sized office while the smaller cities like Anyang have a much smaller branch...
And no, you won't get fined or penalized for a failed application process, unless it was with fraudulant docs.... |
