Hi all- new teacher here- I live in Suwon- in Sang Wu apartments,close to a BBq chicken place. Anyone know where a close ATM is that has english instructions?

What dong are you in? There are several sang-wu apartments and there are tons of chicken bbq places... that is almost like saying you are next to a church with a red cross on the roof.
Do you need an ATM for a foreign card or domestic (Korean) card? It will also make a difference. |

It is a domestic KB card- no idea what dong- looks look I may have to go to Suwon station- ah well thanks for trying. |

Most of the KB* banks have machines with an "ENGLISH" card option on them. If you look at the machine, the touch pad will be flat like a table and the english option button is the one on the lower right hand side of the touchpad. It says, "ENGLISH".
Follow the English directions on the menu screens after that.
Your card will work in all domestic bank ATM machines and most if not all banks now have at least 1 or 2 machines that have the English option. |

500 - 1100 won depending on the time of day and whose machine it is.
During banking hours it is cheaper/cheapest.
After 4/5 (depending on the bank) it gets more expensive.
24hour machines (convenience stores and subway stations) are the most expensive usually 1100-1200 won for a domestic card. |
