Is it still on AFN? I haven't seen it in the last couple of weeks. Gets kind of old after a while. Someone gets sick, noone knows why, House guesses wrong, House guesses wrong again, House almost kills patient, House diagnoses the 1 in a million disease seconds before patient is beyond the point of no return. All while being a complete a-hole to everyone. Although I do prefer the a-hole House to the softening of his personality that he seemed to have been undergoing.

Taken off Tuesday night's 9 o'clock time slot. Replaced with Supernatural. Was one of the only good shows on AFN. Why, Mother of Jesus, Why??

I agree. I got tired of it pretty quickly. However, I find it riveting when there's nothing else on.

I like it. The fact that House is a monster is what makes it worth watching; how rare to have a 'hero' figure in a show like that.

I also come from a medical family and find the diagnostic stuff really cool.

He reverted MUCH too quickly... blame that on the writers.

It's just weird hearing Hugh Laurie doing an American accent

Nevermind Hugh Laurie doing an American accent (pretty flawless to an untrained Brit ear like mine) but it's more disturbing to find myself lusting after Hugh Laurie/House. *Slaps self around the face several times*

It's one of only two shows that I'm keeping up with via downloads from here. Love it.

I really don't care for it. The fun of watching a mystery show is to try and solve the mystery yourself, but the solution on "House" is always some completely bizarre malady that even MD's could never guess while watching the show.

I also hate shows where the main character is a cantancerous a-hole smartmouth. I know it's supposed to be endearing in that whole anti-hero kind of way, but it just bugs me.

Yes indeed! It was quite a shock when I first turned it on. I did a double take. I must say though, he's become rather 'dashing' in his later years. Who'd have thought? Mind you...compared to Stephen Fry...he always was!
