|
|
Hey Everyone.
I have been told I have to attend a school training session on the East Coast the weekend of October 13th and I really need someone to dog sit for me. Indy is a one year old Jindo/Akita cross who is full of energy. He's used to being left alone for the day so that is not a concern. He goes out once in the morning and once at night. He eats pretty much anything and everything. He's good on a leash, however, he has a high pray drive. So, if he sees another dog/bird/kids running, he wants to play too and pulls quite hard on the leash. You would only need to watch him for Friday night and Saturday. I will return on Saturday evening.
I don't have a car, so if I could find someone within walking distance of Ori station and the EMART in Young In that would be perfect. (Jukjeon Apartments)
I can send photos if you want to see my Indy.
Please send a PM or email me at [email protected] if you think you can help out.
Thanks |

I saw a few restaurants in Yeoksam that would be happy to take your dog off your hands. I think they pay by the pound (or kilogram). |

Another one of those people here with a husky or jindo or whatever and living in a city.
You people make me sick.
And...you'll stay here for how long? |

I'd be willing to look after your dog. I'm assuming that he'll stay in your appartment and you'll give me the keys so that I can let him out twice a day? |

Posts like yours make me sick. Whats your issue? No friends when u were younger? Not even a pet was willing to go near you?
Whats your problem and Ill clarify it for you in simple English. I've got a jindo and live in the city. What of it.
How long? Probably longer than any female or male companion can stand your stench. |

You can't exactly just "give it away to a good home" at the end. |

Why do you assume I would give it away? Is there a law that states I cant bring pets back home? I've had my dog for 2 years, abandoning my dog is an idea that has never crossed my mine. Do you know me or my situation? Or were you just making a gross generalization.
You must have a very low opinion of large dog owners. I feel sorry for and whatever tragic incident that may have happened to you. |

Yes,I was making a generalisation based on how many people let their "while in Korea" or "just for Xmas" pets be ultimately put down.
Why did you generalise that I smell? |

I may have found a person to take care of my Indy. However, I would appreciate anyone else that is interested to please let me know so I can have a back up plan if the first person can't do it. I would like Indy to go home with you for the night, rather than me giving out my house keys.
As for the person who mentioned why would I keep a big dog in the city? Well, had I not rescued my Indy, he may not be alive today. And for your information, I took him home to Canada already this summer and he will come home with me again when I leave Korea for good. Because I am not in the mood to argue with someone right now, all I have to say is "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all" |

I'm concerned about irresponsible animal guardianship too, but the negative comments seemed totally uncalled for here. |
